The first round of the 2024 Region IV Division II Men’s Basketball tournament tip-off on February 29. The number 1 seeded South Suburban Bulldogs hosted number 8 seeded Madison College. The game was highly anticipated for fans, for parents and for sophomore Jemel Jones. He was going to set a record for himself and the first play of the game he went up for his 1000 point put his name in the history books.
FINAL: SSC 101, Madison 59.
South Suburban will face Moraine Valley in the semi-finals on March 3rd; hosted by Rock Valley at 12pm.
