Two days before Memorial Day, the city of Oak Forest had volunteers come out and place thousands of flags along Cicero Ave, Central Ave and 159th St. The Flags around Oak Forest program was led by 4th Ward Alderman Paul Selman, a former sailor. Also commenting was Army Veteran Ralph Chichester.
