The New Lenox 4a Semi-Sectional between Lincoln-Way Central and Lincoln-Way West was determined by a few hits on May 29th.

At the top of the second, a pickoff situation distracted the infield allowing Central to take the lead. West got some luck in the fourth. Anthony Massa earned two rbis when the ball dropped past the second baseman. An inning later, Conor Essenburg brought another two runners home putting Central in a tough spot. Luke Tingley’s sacrifice wasn’t enough.

FINAL Lincoln-Way West 5, Lincoln-Way Central 2. The Warriors will play for the New Lenox Sectional championship vs Providence Catholic on Saturday June 1st.
