Providence Catholic baseball becomes 4a Sectional Champions

It only took two innings to determine the New Lenox 4a Sectional Championship matchup between Providence Catholic (30-8) and Lincoln-Way West.

Jacob Willis would open the scoring with 2 rbis when the ball carried into left field during the second. At the top of the fourth, the Celtics began to swing. The first rbi came from Cooper Eggert. Tying the game off a wild pitch was Nate O’Donnell. When Michael Noonan came up to bat, he was going to flip the lead and they would not go back.

FINAL: Providence Catholic 7, Lincoln-Way West 2.

The Super Sectional Game will be on June 3.
