On Tuesday, September 3, the Cougars of Saint Xavier University won their second women’s soccer match-up of the year (2-1) at home, vs Clarke University (Iowa).
The 1-0 SXU victory came from junior midfielder Hailey Henry at the 49th minute mark. She hit the back of the net from 10 yards out, via an assisted pass by Alex Jonaitis (forward). This would be her first goal of the 2024 season.
Natalie Dybas (goalkeeper) would make one save during the contest.
The Cougars will travel to face Roosevelt University (IL) on Sunday, September 8.
