On Monday, September 2, a missing person’s report was filed to the Midlothian Police Department (MPD) about, juvenile, Tristan Brown (aged 17).
On Wednesday, September 4, the Midlothian Illinois Police Department released a statement on their Facebook page saying…
“On September 2nd, 2024, the Midlothian Police Department took a report of a missing juvenile, Tristan Brown (pictured left). Tristan is believed to be with his girlfriend, Lillian Bereta (pictured right) who is now reported as missing, as well. If anyone has any information related to Tristan’s whereabouts, please contact MPD.”
The two juveniles, Tristan and Lillian (also aged 17), are believed to be together.
On Thursday morning, September 5, WCCN reached out to the Midlothian Police Department for further development. (Still waiting a respond).
Around 3 P.M., the MPD updated their Facebook post reporting that one of the two juveniles were found.
“The Midlothian Police Department has located Lillian Bereta-Hanna in Des Plaines, Illinois. We are still looking for Tristan Brown, however” wrote the MPD.
Around 7:00 P.M. the MPD stated that both Tristan and Lillian were found.
“Both of our missing juveniles, Tristan Brown and Jillian Bereta Hanna were found in unincorporated Des Plaines, Illinois. Both are in good health and are being returned to their families.”
“A special thank you to the Cook County Sheriff’s Department, the Cook County Forest Preserve Police Department, the Oak Forest Police Department, the Elk Grove Village Police Department, the Indiana Harbor Belt RailRoad Police Department, and the Calcomm Dispatchers for their assistance in this investigation. Sincerely, Chief Delaney” wrote MPD.
