This Sunday, September 22, the Joliet Airport Festival will return to the Joliet Regional Airport located at 4000 W. Jefferson Street from 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM.
Locals that are looking for a chance to ride in the sky, without buying their own plane, can at the 2024 Joliet Airport Festival. Riding in a plane is not required and you can enjoy watching & listening with FREE admission!
On the other hand, if you wish to get right into the action, guests can choose from three different types of planes and helicopter rides’: a Stearman ($125 per person), the ‘Pitts’ ($200), a Cessna 172 ($40) and a helicopter ($50).
Additionaly, there will be a Classic Car show hosted by the Coachmen Car Club ($15 car entry fee: gates open at 7 AM).
The festival has their own Pancake Breakfast from 8:00 AM – 10:30 AM with Pancakes, Sausages, coffee and juice. ($7 Adults and $5 kids 10 & under). Food vendors and food trucks will also be available throughout the day to fix all your appetites!
