During the Harold L. Richards High School (10601 Central Ave) football game (vs Oak Lawn Community High School), on September 20th, a fight broke out at halftime.

On the visiting ‘Oak Lawn’ fan section side, two alleged females started to fight right when the halftime firework show began. During this struggle, at least one officer was assaulted by a female. The unidentified female allegedly spat on, hit and elbowed at least one officer.

This resulted in at least 8 additional marked and unmarked squad cars to arrive; approximately between 2-4 minutes after the incident.

At least one female was handcuffed and led away by police.

Once the situation was resolved, all visiting fans were required to leave the game.

Oak Lawn’s Police Department has not released a statement; at this time.
