Tinley Park (red) meeting Oak Forest (white) at midfield for the coin toss.

Coming in from the North East, wind speeds ranged from 20 to 30 mph on September 27, 2024. It was so rough the wind even tore off the left goal post flag, on the south end of the field.

The Oak Forest Bengals (3-2, 3-0 SSC Blue) were trying to become the Bremen Community High School District 228 (BCHS D228) champions, winning against all other district 228 teams in a single season, but standing in their way were the Titans of Tinley Park (2-3, 0-3 SSC Blue).

FINAL: Oak Forest 45, Tinley Park 28.

After the game WCCN spoke with junior running back Jason Janke and fourth year Oak Forest head coach Anthony Malopsy.

Special thank you to Tinley Park athletics, Anthony Malopsy (Oak Forest Head Coach) and Chris Vitt (Tinley Park Head Coach).
