It was time to make history for the first Richton Park Regional Finals girls flag football contest on Saturday, October 12. Both the #1 seeded Rich Township Raptors and the #5 seeded Hillcrest Hawks recorded high-scoring games in the semifinals and were ready to play their hearts out again.

FINAL: Hillcrest 36, Rich Township 32.

Hillcrest

– Junior quarterback Dajha Johnson threw for five passing touchdowns; three went to senior Maariyah Muhammad and two to junior Davia Cobb.

Rich Township

–  Senior quarterback Sherrie Emmons rushed for three touchdowns & threw two; one to junior Tayler Thompson and the other to junior Zariea Radcliff.

The WCCN Player of the Game was Dajha Johnson.
