The closest game of the first round of the Class 6A IHSA playoffs was the matchup between #2 Harold L. Richards and #15 Dunlap High School on a cold Friday (November 1, 2024) evening.
FINAL: Richards 21, Dunlap 20.
The WCCN Player of the Game was senior running back and defensive back Myles Mitchell. He earned three rushing touchdowns and had a single interception.
