On November 23, the #24 Lincoln-Way Central Knights faced the #4 Batavia Bulldogs in an intense, emotional rollercoaster of a game for the Class 7A IHSA semifinals.
Both teams had impressive breakout victories in the first round, but as the tournament progressed, each win became increasingly harder.
FINAL: Batavia 25, Lincoln-Way Central 21.
Special thank you to the IHSA and Bob Ward (LWC athletic director).
