On February 20, 2025, the Calumet City 3A Regional Final saw #6 Lemont face off against the #3 Thornton Fractional North Meteors.
Both teams had put up impressive numbers in their previous matchups, but when it came to the finals, it was clear from the start that the Meteors would dominate.
FINAL: TF North 74, Lemont 42.
The WCCN Player of the Game was junior forward Lauryn Jackson, who lit up the scoreboard with 30 points in the championship game.
WCCN had the opportunity to speak with Jackson and Centrese McGee, the second-year head coach, following the regional victory.
