The Harold L. Richards Bulldogs bullpen has already signed three pitchers to colleges and is now looking to sign more while aiming for a great season.
It was a beautiful 79-degree day, on March 14, at Harold L. Richards high school, with the wind blowing out to the north.
On a normal game day, the gusts might carry the ball out to left field, but it takes expert players to prevent that from happening in the first place.
That’s where Sean Cody, Xavier Fernandez, and Jason Campbell come in.
These three starting pitchers have already signed with colleges as juniors and are focused on keeping the ball in the catcher’s glove as they head into their senior year.
- Sean Cody – University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC)
- Xavier Fernandez – Joliet Junior College
- Jason Campbell – Illinois Valley Community College
In the offseason, all of these pitchers are personally dedicated to training.
