Tinley Park – After a game reschedule, the Oak Forest Bengals and the Victor J. Andrew Thunderbolts moved their matchup up by two days, with the game taking place on March 18.
The starting pitchers were Justin Gibbs for the Bengals and Caden Kendall for the Thunderbolts. Defense played a crucial role, particularly when the bases were loaded with no outs.
FINAL: Andrew 6, Oak Forest 2.
The WCCN Player of the Game was Caden Kendall, who dominated with 5 strikeouts, a double, and a single.
Danny Moss came in to relieve Kendall, adding to the Thunderbolts’ success with 4 strikeouts of his own.
