Blue Island – On April 8, the Reavis Rams Volleyball team (11-2, SSC 1-0) earned their first conference win of the season against the Eisenhower Cardinals (2-2, SSC 0-1).

Coming into the game, the Rams had already posted 10 wins and only 2 losses. Recently, Reavis competed in the Argo Volleyball Tournament, where they finished in third place.

Pawek Greczek and Kystian Paluch stood out in the tournament and were named to the All-Tournament Team.

In the game against the Cardinals, Greczek sat out, but that didn’t stop Paluch from stepping up. He switched from libero to outside hitter and dominated the game.

In the first set, the Rams won 25-11.

The Cardinals made a few late runs in the sets, but it was a little too late. The second set almost ended the same way, with the Rams securing a 25-12 win.

FINAL: Reavis 2, Eisenhower 0.

The WCCN Player of the Game went to senior Kystian Paluch, who switched positions to outside hitter. He recorded 8 kills, swinging at .583, and added 5 aces.
