Lockport – The home opener for the Lockport Township High School Porters (8-7) took place on April 10, when they hosted the Joliet Catholic Academy Hilltoppers (5-6).
Both teams entered the match with .500 records, but Lockport featured a brand-new starting lineup, as all their seniors had graduated after last season.
Their ability to step up and take on leadership roles helped them come out strong.
