Crestwood – On a blustery afternoon at Ozinga Field in Crestwood, the Tinley Park Titans (6-7, SSC 2-3) hosted the Oak Forest Bengals (5-6-1, SSC 4-1) on April 14, with wind gusts reaching up to 33 mph playing a major role in the South Suburban Conference matchup.

From the first pitch, the Bengals came out swinging—literally—putting up three runs in the opening frame to set the tone.

Oak Forest continued to dominate offensively, tacking on two runs in both the second and third innings.

The fourth inning saw another three-run burst, followed by a final run in the fifth to seal the shutout victory.

FINAL: Oak Forest 11, Tinley Park 0

The WCCN Player of the Game went to junior Bryce Hoffman, who went 1-for-2 at the plate with 3 RBIs.

Other key contributors for the Bengals included:

  • Junior Danny Chopp: 3-for-4 (.750), 2 runs, 2 RBIs
  • Senior Ashton Janowski: 2-for-3 (.667), 1 triple, 2 RBIs, 1 run
