Lockport – Lockport Township Park District will be hosting another Military History Weekend, taking place September 6 & 7 at Dellwood Park, Woods Dr., Lockport.
Military History Weekend is an annual event honoring the military, offering the public an opportunity to learn about military history. There will be reenactors, historians, and veterans at Dellwood Park who will offer live demonstrations near their camps and showcase historical artifacts for guests to ask questions about.
In addition, the event will feature battle reenactments, food vendors, live music, and educational history presentations.
“Step back in time at Military History Weekend, a powerful tribute to America’s military legacy. This unforgettable weekend features live battle reenactments, pyrotechnics, vintage music, and living history demonstrations representing the Civil War, WWI, WWII, and the Vietnam War,” wrote the Lockport Township Park district.
Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children, seniors over 55, and veterans.
