Burbank – It was homecoming for the Reavis Rams on September 20, when they hosted the Argo Argonauts.

About an hour before kickoff, the Reavis homecoming parade concluded outside the school at 77th St. and Moody Ave.

Once the game began, Argo was forced to punt after a three-and-out. On the return, Nicholas Pryor took the punt to the house for a touchdown, pointing to the sky in honor of a late friend.

On the next drive, Skylar O’Neill stripped the ball from a receiver, recovered it, and ran it in for Reavis’ second touchdown, earning him the WCCN Play of the Game.

With roughly three minutes remaining in the first quarter, Parker Zasada rushed into the end zone for another Rams score.

In the second quarter, the Rams added three more touchdowns: one through the air (junior quarterback Dardan Nreci to senior running back Parker Zasada), one on a rushing play (senior Nehemiah Rogers), and one off a blocked punt (senior Jacob Gustafson).”

With a running clock starting in the second half, Argo managed to put up two touchdowns, but the deficit was too large to overcome.

FINAL: Reavis 41, Argo 12

After the game, senior defensive back and wide receiver Nicholas Pryor spoke about the punt return that gave Reavis its first points. He dedicated the score to his late friend, Krystian Michael Krzysiak (Reavis Class of 2025).

The WCCN Player of the Game was senior linebacker and free safety Skylar O’Neill. He recorded a strip-fumble return for a touchdown and two blocked punts.
