Richton Park – On October 13 at Rich Township High School, number one seeded Perspectives/Leadership/Technology took on number 12 seeded Simeon Career Academy in the IHSA Richton Park sectional semifinals.

The only two scores in the first half came from Perspectives’ ground game. Quarterback Rayne Lumpkin rushed for a 28-yard touchdown, and on the following possession, Pierrah Lee ran it in to put Perspectives up 13–0 at halftime.

In the third quarter, the Warriors turned up the heat. Lee made two key interceptions. One of them set up a touchdown a few plays later: a pass from Lumpkin to Jasmine Turner for their final score.

Simeon did managed to get on the board in the fourth quarter when Janiya Pillow broke to the right for a 12-yard rushing touchdown.

FINAL: Perspectives/Leadership 20, Simeon 6

The WCCN Player of the Game was senior wide receiver and defensive back Pierrah Lee who had 1 touchdown and 2 interceptions.
