Bolingbrook – It came down to a 2 point conversion when the Fremd Vikings (11-1) faced the Bolingbrook Raiders (9-3) on November 15, 2025.
The game was a constant back and forth battle all the way to end.
With 6:31 remaining in the 4th quarter, Sheamus Sloan notched a 31 yard field goal to put the Vikings up 34-27.
The Raiders then mounted a 15 play drive ending with a Tyson Ward rushing touchdown at the 1 yard line, putting the Raiders down by one at 34-33.
Instead of kicking the extra point to tie the game, Bolingbrook’s coach decided to go for a two point conversion and the win with 56.9 seconds remaining on the clock.
After a timeout by Fremd, Bolingbrook handed the ball off to their running back, who was stuffed by senior linebacker Troy Pepe for the WCCN Play of the Game, leading to the victory.
FINAL: Fremd 34, Bolingbrook 33.

The WCCN Player of the Game was Senior Quarterback Johnny O’Brien, who had 2 passing touchdowns for 301 passing yards, 65 rushing yards, and a single interception.
O’Brien is an elite QB who knows when to run and when to throw. He has been in this position since his prep-football days and talked about his game and his teammates: senior wide receiver Marquan Brewster, junior wide receiver Carter MacDonald, junior wide receiver Ben Riddle, and junior running back Jayden Faulkner.
