Lisle – The thermometer read just 1 degree on January 24, 2026, when the Naperville Central Sectional was held at Lisle Lanes.
Parents, fans, and coaches stood trying to get a glimpse of the lanes as they watched teams and individuals bowl for a chance to advance to the state championship.
A total of 121 bowlers competed in the sectional, including members of 12 teams as well as individual competitors. With limited spots available, the top four teams advanced, along with five individual bowlers whose teams did not qualify.
After a long and competitive day on the lanes, the following teams and individuals earned the opportunity to advance to the state championship, which will take place January 30–31 at St. Clair Bowl in Fairview Heights.
