Joliet – A day without class is usually a treat, but for some athletes, the real test was just beginning.

The Joliet West Girls Bowling Sectional was held on Friday, February 13 at Joliet Town and Country Lanes.

Twelve teams took to the lanes, looking to break open a shot at the state finals. Only the top four teams with the highest pin totals would advance.

In addition, the five highest-scoring individuals from non-qualifying teams would also move on.
