Palos Heights — Trinity Christian defeated Calumet College 3-0 on March 24 at DeVos Gymnasium.
With the college set to close in May, the Trolls are playing their final season with urgency, looking to leave a lasting impression on those who come out to watch.
Leading the way on the stat sheet was sophomore outside hitter Juvantae Thompson, who finished with 13 kills, two assists, and three digs, earning WCCN Player of the Game honors.
Junior opposite Sam Cain finished with 10 kills and five digs, providing a strong presence at the net.
Senior middle Conner Dargan also had five kills and two digs.
