On Saturday March 9th, the 2024 Region IV Division 2 Men’s Basketball tournament was held at Rock Valley College. The Waubonsee Chiefs took on the South Suburban Bulldogs and fought for the Midwest District A Championship. Last year in the semi-finals the Bulldogs fell to the Chiefs. This year they were trying to make a statement in the finals.
FINAL: South Suburban 94, Waubonsee 82.
Jemel Jones had 29 points, 9 rebounds, 8 assists and 3 steals. Chris Harrison had 16 points, 4 rebounds and 1 steal.
