Fairview Heights – The IHSA State Championship for boys bowling was held January 30–31 at St. Clair Bowl in Fairview Heights, Illinois.
The state’s top talent competed over two days, giving their best performances on the biggest stage. A total of 24 teams and 117 individual bowlers qualified for the state tournament, though not all individuals competed as part of a team.
By the end of Friday’s competition, the field was cut in half: 12 teams advanced, and the individual field was reduced from 117 bowlers to 75.
During the first day, teams bowled a total of 30 games, while each individual bowler competed in up to six games.
Competition concluded on January 31, with final placements determined by total pin count.
Over the two-day event, teams bowled a combined total of 60 games, and individual bowlers competed in up to 12 games.
Listed below are the top five teams in the state, followed by the teams from Will and Cook Counties.
