This year, celebrate the 4th of July as America marks its 250th Anniversary, with numerous fireworks displays happening across Will County and the southern suburbs of Cook County on Friday, July 3, and Saturday, July 4, 2026.

WCCN has carefully curated a comprehensive list of these free firework events so you can easily find the perfect celebration near you.

Will County:

Beecher – Beecher 4th of July Festival
Date: July 4, 2026
Time: 2:00 p.m. – Midnight

Bolingbrook – 4th of July Celebration
Date: July 4, 2026
Time: Gates open at 3:00 p.m.
Location: Bolingbrook Golf Club, 2001 Rodeo Dr.
Fireworks: At dusk

Frankfort – 4th of July Fireworks
Date: July 4, 2026
Time: Park opens at 6:30 p.m.
Location: Main Park, 200 S. Locust St.
Fireworks: Approximately 9:15 p.m.

Joliet – America 250 Fireworks Spectacular
Date: July 4, 2026
Time: Gates open at 6:00 p.m.
Location: Busey Bank Field at Joliet Memorial Stadium, 3000 West Jefferson St.

Lemont – July 3rd Celebration
